Description:
A beautifully landscaped Camping & Caravan Park in the heart of County Mayo. The park is an excellent base for touring, (hill)-walking, cycling and fishing. The facilities include a modern en spotless toiletblock, a children's play area and an indoor gamesroom.
There is an on-site clubhouse where you can relax and enjoy a drink and/or meal by the open fire. Live entertainment in high season.

The river Moy, which is famous for (salmon) fishing, is only a few kilometres away. There are also various good fishing lakes nearby, such as Derryhick Lake, Lough Cullin and Lough Conn. You can also fish the Clydagh River where it borders the park.
Castlebar is a lively town with all the major supermarkets, health spa, 7 screen cinema and approx. 30 pubs.
The campsite is ideally located for walking (the Foxford Way), cycling (the Humbert Tour) and touring.
Connemara; Achill Island; Westport and Crough Patrick; National Museum of Country Life; Downpatrick Head and The Céide Fields are all within a short driving distance.
From Castlebar: take the N5 towards Dublin. Follow the road for ca. 8km (5 miles) until you have passed the exit for "the Museum of Country Life' and 'Horkans Garden Centre' on the left hand side. Take the first exit on the left hand side. You should see signs for 'Carrowkeel Camping Park' and 'Carrowkeel Furniture'.
From Ballyvary: take the N5 towards Castlebar. Take the first exit on the right hand side after the railway bridge.
Follow the road all the way (ca. 1 km) and turn right at the end. You will see the camping on the left hand side.
