I stayed at Loon Bay resort for three weeks. I was there working 12 hour days with a highway crew. I was over charged, harassed to move for two days to another site, before my days paid were up, so that the owners could accomidate their friends. I found the resort unhospitable, uncompremising and racist towards anyone that was not Swedish. Any locals that I spoke to had nothing good to say about " the new owners". I would not stay there again. I would rather set up camp on the side of the road. This is very disapointing since there are a lot of workers that camp instead of staying in hotels. I for one, and probably the rest of the crew from the company I work for will not be staying there again. One unhappy camper.
