The Ermosa Campsite is located directly at the beach and is only a stone’s throw away from the small town of Posada, in the Sardinian province of Nuoro.The site has all facilities you need ( caravan and mobile home sites, tent sites, toilets and showers) as well as a restaurant with a bar and a few bungalows for guests who like a little more comfort.
The bar and the restaurant are open for lunch and evening meals or you can also just enjoy a drink there.
The tent sites are equipped with connections for light and water supply in accordance with EU norms.To make sure our camping guest are as comfortable as possible,our sanitary facilities have free warm water and toilets as well as a large number of showers .The campsite has a great number of trees providing shade and the beach,wich is less than 50 m away,is without doubt one of our best features and a unique advantage of the site.
The campsite is a special natural oasis with a particulary quited and peaceful location between the lagoon of Posada (Flamingos) in the north and the seaside\beach to the east.
The small town of Posada is set high up on a steephillside,on a huge limestone cliff with the ‘’CASTELLO DELLA FAVA’’ the preserved tower of a medieval ruine castle-crowning its peak.From here,visitors can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view across the green valley below with several arms of the Rio Posada flowing through it. The wonderful old town-unique for Sardinia- spreads out at the foot of the ruin and has several preserved medieval buildings.
The view to the east reveals the lush ‘’Orvile’’ landscape with pine woods ,the pure white sands of the beach and the old tower of San Giovanni, a witness of the defensive struggle of this area and its inhabitants against attacks by the Saracens; and – a little further south – from here visitors can also see the busy shipping traffic of the La Caletta yacht harbor.

Spending your holiday at Ermosa Campsite means, above all, that you can enjoy the closeness to the beach – a beach with excellent water quality wich was awarded the ‘Cinque vele’ prize of ‘legambiente’ last year (the highest award from Italy’s most important environmental protection organization).
More than just seaside : on the campsite premises we have many hammocks waiting for you beneath the shady trees and bushes where you can rest and relax in a young and multicultural ambience and ‘recharge you batteries’ again.
In the area surrounding the campsite , guests have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of sport and leisure activities : mountain-biking, canoeing, surf,kitesurf, hill walking and hiking, free climbing or scuba diving.

The beach is ideal for children , as it has both shallow areas of water and the coastline is not steep at the beach. A few rocky areas underwater are suitable for snorkeling.
