The Camp-site Don Diego is situated in a unique position on the 'Riviera Picena of the Palms', at only 10meters from the reserved (free or private) beach, on the seafront that joins Grottammare and S.Benedetto del Tronto, situated respectively at 1km and 1,5Km both linked up by the new suggestive cycle-tracks on the seafront.
The camping, recommended by the Dutch ANWB Camping guide, is an authentic “botanical park” on the sea: a rich and varied vegetation, composed by poplars, palms, high trunk eucalyptus, oleanders and flower essences, distinguishes it allowing to live a holiday in close contact with the nature around.
The campsite is provided with large pitches immersed in the green, they’re fully shaded and bounded by hedges with columns for the electric socket. Free WI-FI connection. The paths are all paved and integrated with the environment around. Respect of diurnal silence from 02:00 to 04:00 pm.

Surrounding:
New cycle tracks link up Grottammare for 15km, running along the beach, among bar, and small markets and let you enjoy nice rides during the day, or suggestive nightly walks looking for a gentle sea breeze. GROTTAMMARE is composed by two main urban wards both overlooking the sea, the ‘Borgo Antico’ that lies on the hill like a terrace on the sea, and the ‘Downtown’ that spreads to the southern coast for 4km with its large and luxuriant seafront. At 2 Km to the south overlooks the exotic seafront of S.Benedetto del Tronto with its botanic gardens on the beach. Grottammare is also the ideal starting point to visit (also with half daily excursions) impressive typical medieval towns of the Piceno territory, retreated on the hills, at very few km from the sea, like Ascoli Piceno, the town of travertine and “dining room” of Italy, Offida, the town of the pillow laces and architectonic jewel, Ripatransone, where you can find the Italian narrowest lane and Acquaviva Picena, seat of the typical summer market.

Route:
To reach us by car is very easy: the campsite is situated at 1,5km from the A14 Highway Exit “Grottammare” driving on to direction south from the roundabout. For who travels by train we suggest the railway station ‘S. Benedetto del Tronto’ (at 2km), where also the international trains stop: from there you can catch the local bus link to “Lungomare” direction Grottammare, with stop at 50mt from camping entry (the camping is halfway among S. Benedetto del Tronto and Grottammare centre). On our website besides, the possibility is given to calculate and print the way to reach us (online roadmap).
