The camping paradise Mattsee is embedded in a quiet and romantic bay directly at the Mattsee. The long, largely natural shore strip offers unique swimming, surfing, sailing and fishing opportunities. In the warm and clean water of Lake Mattsee you can enjoy swimming from mid-May to the beginning of September. Far away from any major road and on a camping area littered with (fruit) trees and bushes you will find a particularly relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Our buffet at the edge of the forest will spoil you with culinary delights. Here, only 25 km north of the Mozart city Salzburg in the middle of the Trumer 3-lake-country you will experience a gently hilly and lovely landscape which has preserved its originality and is in perfect harmony with gentle tourism.

Surrounding:
The Campingparadies Mattsee is located at the Salzburg-Austrian border between Lochen and Mattsee (each about 4 km), directly at the Mattsee (also known as Niedertrumer See). Around us are still the Obertrumer See and the Grabensee. We are thus in the middle of the "Trumer 3-Seen-Land", a central part of the "Salzburg Lake District". Only 25 kilometres separate us from the festival city of Salzburg. The 3 lakes of the "Trumer Seenland" and especially the Mattsee are among the cleanest and warmest waters in the country. The bathing season often begins in May and usually lasts until September. The lush green meadows, hills and forests of the Alpine foothills offer excellent hiking and cycling opportunities. In the romantic village of Mattsee (situated like a peninsula between Mattsee and Obertrumer See) a continuous cycle and footpath leads along the lake. Let yourself be enchanted by the Mozart city of Salzburg, which is only 25 km south of us. At home you will enjoy the memories of a walk to the Hohensalzburg Fortress or a stroll through the Getreidegasse for a long time. You can reach Salzburg by car in about 20 minutes or by bus from Mattsee.
