Camping La Grande Veyière is secluded in the tranquil, sloping landscape of the Perigord (Dordogne) at the end of a country lane with no through traffic. Our quiet, idyllic campsite, surrounded by fields and woods, enjoys a convivial atmosphere. This is trully a place where you can escape from the rush of everyday life.
Our campsite is small and offers 60 sites, arranged in an area of about 11 acres, with each one enjoying a level and well-shaded setting.
Castles, grottos, abbeys, vast caves, bastides,
the Perigord is the home to a never ending variety of places to visit.
Our proximity to the confluence of the Dordogne and Vezere valleys allows you easy access to all of these wonders:
north to the famous prehistoric caves;
east by the fabulous Dordogne valley to Sarlat, a beautiful medieval town;
south to Monpazier and bastide towns;
west to Bergerac and its many vineyards.
