The rainbow holiday resort Born is hidden on the Bodden side of the peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst. The nature resort directly on the border of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft is our tip for you if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to enjoy unspoilt nature: the Bodden landscape, the Darsser Urwald, alder quarries, forest meadows, ghostly looking swamps, the famous wind escapees, the romantic west beach and the Baltic Sea. The Bodden offers surfers and sailors an ideal spot - fewer waves than the Baltic Sea and yet enough wind. The little village of Born with its reed-roofed, colourfully painted houses, the fishermen's church, small restaurants, summer cinema and numerous cabaret events in the season can be easily reached on foot from the resort.
