Description:
The modern, quiet campsite (according to ADAC) on the river Lahn has heated, handicapped accessible sanitary facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer, electricity connections for all pitches, decentralised water supply, boat slipway, swimming pool and children's playground.
The DTV (German Tourism Association) has awarded the course a first-class 4-star rating.
The entrance to the campsite is located in the immediate vicinity of the village centre and offers numerous shopping facilities e.g. bakery, butcher's shop and grocery market.
A pizzeria and another restaurant are only a few minutes' walk away.
Bicycles and boats can be rented. Furthermore, electricity connections for caravans, gas bottle rental, camping gas, waste disposal stations for campers and a lounge/TV room can be used without the need for food.
Fixed motorhome sites with direct supply and disposal are available.
In the immediate vicinity (2km) is the baroque residence Weilburg with its high castle, local history and mining museum and an indoor swimming pool.
Every year from June to August the famous Weilburg Palace Concerts and numerous theatre performances take place here.
The Kubach "Crystal Caves" and the "Zoo" Weilburg are also waiting for your visit.
