In the middle of the Lüneburger Heide in Lower Saxony, close to the beautiful village Wietzendorf, surrounded by woods and flowering meadows, lies the campsite Südsee-Camp. It is a holiday paradise with a 3,5 hectare lake and an inviting white beach.

Whether you want to camp with your own caravan or tent or you want to rent a caravan, chalet or holiday cottage, we offer you an exceptional holiday experience with all the comfort you need. Spring, summer, autumn or winter – on our campsite it’s always holiday season.

Play- and sports grounds, leisure activities, a horse stable, a lake or our subtropical indoor swimming pool – help to beat the boredom at all times. Restaurants, a supermarket, shops and a bike, go cart and car rental station complement the offer. We also offer you coach rides with our own coaches to musicals in Hamburg or amusement parks in the surrounding area.

Around the South Seas Camp there are protected landscape areas. Rustic heathland towns and villages within a radius of about 100 km invite you to visit. The large cities of Hamburg, Hanover or Bremen are on average 80 km away from the Südsee-Camp and can be reached quickly via the motorway. The old salt town Lüneburg with the nearby ship lift Scharnebeck or Celle with its worth seeing half-timbered old town and the castle are popular destinations. The small heathland villages in the vicinity each have their own attractions and are always worth a visit. Hiking, walking, cycling through the primeval nature of the Lüneburg Heath. The large nature reserves of the North and South Heath are quickly reached. The heather blossoms in August-September. Leisure parks nearby: e.g. Heidepark Soltau; Vogelpark Walsrode, Serengeti Park Hodenhagen, various animal parks, Snow-Dome Bispingen, Ralf Schumachers Kartcenter and much more...

From the north: motorway 7, exit 44 - Soltau Ost, towards Soltau for 1 km, in Harber turn left towards Wietzendorf, go straight for 6 km, in Suroide turn right go straight for about 3 km, at the cross way turn right go straight for about 750 m. By train: Railway station Soltau(Han), then go by bus or taxi.
