The location of the campsite is ideal to experience a holiday without equal. In the sunniest area of Germany you will find our campsite on the border of the Black Forest and the famous vineyards of Baden. The proximity to Alsace and Switzerland leaves nothing to be desired. Through this versatility you can really enjoy your holiday.
On the edge of the southern Black Forest, surrounded by vineyards with a view of the Rhine plain and the nearby Vosges mountains, lies the Faust town of Staufen.
Here in the winding alleys of the old town lived and worked once the magician and alchemist Doctor Faust, who was called by the lords of the castle to produce gold for them. In 1539, Mephistopheles, "the supreme devil", fetched him here, as the chronicles report.
