Description:
The campsite Weißehütte is situated in a beautiful valley in the middle of the Weserbergland and is very quietly situated at the end of a dead end street directly on the Weser.
On the camping site there is a direct access to the Weser with its own boat and canoe jetty. The pitches are located directly on the Weser as well as a separate barbecue area and a campfire site. Anglers and canoeists can set up their camp directly on the banks of the Weser. The camping site has a supply and disposal station. Propane gas sale on site. A baker's car brings fresh rolls every morning. You can place your order for bread rolls directly with us in the registration. In the area of the permanent pitches we offer you particularly quiet and green pitches with water connection.
In the climatic health resort Weißehütte you will find the ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday. The pitches are approx. 100 to 140 m2 in size and are easily accessible by car. The good ground conditions are equally suitable for caravans, motor homes and tents. The surroundings of the campsite in the middle of the Weserbergland between Bad Karlshafen and Hann. Münden are ideal for canoe and bicycle tours. The cycle path leads not far from the campsite past the settlement Weißehütte. On the campsite there is a bicycle rental and a canoe rental.
Discover the beautiful Weserbergland with a rented canoe and go on a trip with the
light current of the Weser up to Bad Karlshafen.
Take a hike from the campsite to the fairytale forest in the Reinhardswald. The hike leads to the Sababurg "Sleeping Beauty Castle" and on to the oldest zoological complex in Europe, the Sababurg Zoo. (Brochures and hiking maps are available at the registration desk) In the immediate vicinity of the zoo is the Sababurg Primeval Forest, one of the few remaining primeval forest relics in Germany. Sign-posted circular hiking trails lead past up to 1000 year old oaks and meter-high ferns.
